Jakarta Mori Tower

The Jakarta Office Tower Project is Mori Building’s first masterpiece in Southeast Asia. It is destined to become a new landmark in the centre of the Golden Triangle, next to Semanggi Intersection and the New Semanggi Flyover on Sudirman Street.

This premium grade project has a total gross floor area of 190,000 square metres, consisting of 4 level basements and two towers. The first tower is designated for 58-floor office space with a roof floor and helipad. The second one is the podium tower with 16 floors, not including its roof floor. Both towers were separated with dilatations. Concrete-Steel composite structure was introduced in this building consisting of special steel moment frames and cruciform steel columns encased in concrete for the perimeter columns, which are connected to the concrete core wall with steel beams. Top-down construction method was conducted to speed up the construction time and also due to the limited land area of only around 8,000 sqm.

The project is expected to obtain a BCA Green Mark Platinum Award, one of the highest ratings for environmental impact and performance. PT Gistama Intisemesta was selected to support Shimizu Corporation as the Design-‐Build Contractor of this prestigious project, in collaboration with Bangun Cipta Kontraktor.
